Maintenance and Repairs

The Charity has a legal obligation to maintain the properties to the Decent Homes Standard and comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation. The charity will ensure suitably qualified insured contractors carry out repairs and statutory health and safety checks. These contractors will on occasions require access to the properties owned by the Charity to complete repairs or checks. Residents will be contacted in advance to arrange a convenient time for work, repairs or checks to be carried out.

Residents must seek the permission of the Trustees before undertaking any work to your property, even for small jobs like putting up shelves. If you have a maintenance problem contact the Scheme Manager on 07970815293. If your repair is urgent and the Scheme Manager is on holiday or not answering the phone please contact Lifeline on 01303 242615 or press the Lifeline call point provided in your property.

Residents will be liable for charges incurred for lost keys, fobs and lifeline pendants.

Resident Involvement

Residents’ Representatives are invited to attend the quarterly trustee meetings. If you would like any issues raised at the trustee meetings, please speak to the Scheme Manager or the Residents Representatives.
